Summer already!

Where has the time gone......daughter's braces just came off, celebrated her Sweet 16, now off to camp! Whirlwind!!!

Happy Mother's Day!

......to me and to all the other moms out there!  While it snowed (snowed!!) last night, the studio is heating up and I am heading out there momentarily, coffee in hand.  Just finished a new painting yesterday (Spirit Horse)....hope you like it!  Time to find out what today has in store for me...............

Here comes the sun!

It's supposed to be a gorgeous day today! Perfect!  Planning to spend the entire day in the studio....finishing up a couple of paintings and starting two new ones.....very exciting!!!!!!!

Pony Club Fundraiser!

Last night was the awards dinner for the National Capital Horse Trials Association at the Glen Marr golf club.  What a great night!  We held a silent auction at the event to raise money for our local Pony Club chapter (Ashton First Field Pony Club) and raised just over $2000!!!  Lots of fun and good to support the kids. 

Back in the studio!

Spent most of yesterday afternoon and evening completing a painting, working on two commissions and starting a brand new one.  I'm very excited about how they are all coming along.  It's a beautiful sunny day, -1 this morning and I can't wait to get back out and paint, paint, paint today!! :)
